Our Approach
Pure Earth Foundation is an non-profit organization dedicated to solving pollution problems in India, where human health is at risk. Since its inception in 2018, Pure Earth Foundation works closely with national stakeholders from communities, industry and governments.
Proposed Activities by PEF
- Plantation & protection of tree saplings
- Organising two half yearly national conferences called “ PURE EARTH ENVIRONMENT CONFERENCE” every year involving young scientists
- Conducting Awareness programs on Environment and Pure Earth in Rural Schools.
- Execution civic concerned Model/pilot works to demonstrate with Govt for implementation- such as waste management locally, Cleaning of public places and water bodies, Geo-tagging/mapping of public toilets, Community assets.
- Education to Students with Guest lectures.
- Advice to Govt. departments on preparation of Technical matter towards Project DPRs, RFP documentation, Quality check standards
- Organizing seminars to sensitize the student groups
ACTIVITIES
ACTIVITY-1: FREE TRAINING PROGRAMS CONDUCTED BY PURE EARTH FOUNDATION
Venue: Seminar Hall, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture &Fine Arts University, Hyderabad
In addition to the above free training classes at JNAFAU for students across any college or place, there were many requests by few college managements to conduct exclusive lectures at their colleges so that hundreds of students would be benefitted. PEF has accepted the request from Indira Priyadarshini Degree College for Women, Nampalli and classes were conducted to BSc &B.Com students at their premises. The college and PEF have mutually signed an MOU to continue similar programs in the upcoming years. This MOU has been signed by PEF and the Principal of the college for 5 years on 18th February 2019.

The MOU with Indira Priyadarshini Govt Degree College for Women Nampally for the next 5 years would create an army of volunteers to participate in community service for protection and preservation of environment and pure nature.
The objectives are to provide training on Networking and Data Security, to guide students to take up projects in Environmental & ecological issues and Social Impacts, and thirdly ton involve /volunteer students in community service for protection & preservation of Environment. Regular classes are taken up by PEF as per convinience of the students
ACTIVITY 2 ADOPTION OF SIVANAGUDEM VILLAGE, Marigundem Mandal (Nagarjun sagar road) OF NALGONDA DISTRICT FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES AS PER PEF OBJCTIVES:
It was decided to do some work on Ground to show to the people and help improve their conditions disturbed by deforestations, Global warming and Climate Change. A village named Sivanna gudem village in Nalgonada district was choosen and members of the PEF visited it few times. The village is facing acute Summer temperature of 45 degrees plus, drying up of the perennial stream hitherto seen till 1990, fodder problem for cattle, lack of drinking water, lack of trees in village to give shade on roadsides and courtyards, no irrigation, bad road, lack of employment to mention a few. The PEF is constantly endeavoring to improve this adopted village and make it a role model . After summer season once the preparation of Microplan is completed, suitable measures will be taken up, including making the village a Millet producing and crime free one.

ACTIVITY:3- TELANGANA ENVIRONMENTAL CONGRESS, HYDERABAD
Telangana Environment Congress was first initiated by Centre for Environment and Development, an another environment concerned society, in the year 2018 and continued for the second year ie 2019 with the objective of bringing out the latest Scientific and technological developments and research works that were carried out in the fields of environment connected subjects by the Scientific organisations, Academic institutions, Government Departments and other private/public sector Agencies to a common platform. Many of the Pure Earth Foundation members have involved in the first Congress by chairing sessions, presenting technical papers etc,. The successful outcome of the TEC2018, made PEF to take part in organizing the second congress ie., TEC2019 as a major partner along with, CED, NIMSME and CIPS, Organising as a conference, TEC was aimed to discuss about various developmental challenges and how the science and technology can be utilized for meeting the challenges, leading to sustainable development in the State of Telangana. The focal theme of TEC2019 was taken as “Science, Technology and innovations for Environment and sustainable Development”. The Congress was dissciussed several environment, climate change, technological development and advancements in apace technology, Agricultural developments, food security issues, plastic & e-waste pollutions, solid & liquid waste managements, Weather forecasting, ground water status & issues in the State of Telangana. The congress was a huge success with more than 300 plus experts and enthusiast delegate participation would certainly bring positive vibes in the minds of young generation for preserving the environment and natural resources of the future generations.
TEC2019 was held in the auditorium of National Institute for Micro and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME), yousufguda, Hyderabad on 16 th and 17th April 2019. PEF President Shi. M.V. Krishna Rao IPS has graced the conference as one of the Guest of honour, PEF secretary Dr. HC Mishra IFS, PEF Vice president-1 Sri.K.K.Pappan and PEF joint secretary Sri. Subas Singh have chaired few technical sessions and several other members Mr. Rajesh, Mr. M.R. Naidu, Mr. Srikanth, Mr. Balaji , Mr. Venkat Maddala, Dr.V.V. Hariprasad etc., of PEF have act actively participated in the congress. PEF Vice president-2, Dr. Jayachandra has convened the whole program as TEC convenor. A Proceeding book was published and provided to all the participants. The message to save the planet was spread effectively in the Workshop. The copy of proceedings of the congress is also enclosed.

Activity-4: ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS ACTIVTIES
PEF members have regularly attended several Environment related programs in various institutions on Earth days, World Forestry day and Environment day and given their message to Society. PEF has active contact with several organisations & NGOs involved in Environmental issues including Forestry & Wild Life. Waste land Management & Pollutions of Air & Water..

Activity-5: WEBSITE, BAGS, MEETINGS AND SEMINARS-
The PEF has developed its own website pureearthfoundation.com and there are few notifications and issued relevant to our objectives and activities. The PEF has persuaded people to avoid plastic bags and distributed few alternative cotton bags with PEF emblem as a public motivation. PEF conducted several Executive and General body meetings and discussions to fulfill its objectives and Members have voluntarily spent time, energy and money for the purpose. It is our Endeavour to contribute to save our planet and help the poor thereby handing over a better planet and Environment for posterity to come.
Activity-6: Guidance to Students on Scientific & Environment related topics
Being highly qualified and experienced in various scientific, technological and environment related subjects, PEF Members are involved in guiding the younger generation who are perceiving their B.Tech, M.Tech and research with various educational institutions. With the support of these students, PEF is also executing few socio and technical related pilot works to demonstrate the concerned Govt. departments towards implementation.
Activity-7: Writing Articles on Environment related topics
PEF members have published several scientific Articles on various topics of environmental issues like climate change, global warming, social considerations for environment management, Space science & technologies, GIS, GPS based applications. The papers/articles were presented in national and international conferences by the PEF Members as authors. Few articles contributed by PEF members are enclosed herewith.
